Covalent Tools was founded in 2021 by Jonathan and Jarrad, two highly experienced professionals with a shared passion for precision engineering and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by businesses in the manufacturing sector. Jonathan, a former Toolroom Manager and current owner of an engineering design company, brings over 25 years of valuable experience to the table. Jarrad, also an engineering and toolroom business owner, adds another 20+ years of expertise. Together, they have over 45 years of collective experience in CNC and machining processes.

Jonathan and Jarrad recognized a need for high-quality, affordable carbide tooling solutions, coupled with expert advice and support. Having run successful workshops themselves for many years, they had firsthand experience with the tools they were selling and a unique insight into what customers truly needed. Driven by a commitment to quality and a desire to empower businesses, Covalent Tools began by sourcing a reliable and quality carbide end mill manufacturer and selling to local workshops. From the outset, the company's focus was on providing tried and tested products, backed by the founders' extensive technical knowledge and artisan skills.
